7:00 p.m.

Congratulations for a spectacular performance in Philadelphia. All choirs brought home first place honors. A special word of thanks was offered for all the patient chaperones. The choirs are blessed with wonderful supportive parents.

There will be a DVD and an audio CD of the competition music for sale at the banquet. The DVD will be offered for $20.00, and the CD will be offered for $!0.00. However, both may be purchased for a special price of $25.00.

The dress rehearsal date and time for the spring concert will be announced soon.

The Spring Concert will be May 19. Doors will open at 6:30, and the concert will begin at 7:30. There will be a reception afterwards. People who signed up to help with the reception will be contacted soon.

All monies for the banquet should be returned to Mrs. Beane ASAP. Students who need extra tickets for stepparents should let Mrs. McClain know. If there are extra spots available, Mrs. McClain will let you know. There will be a 1950Ős theme to the banquet since Philadelphia was the site of the original American Bandstand.

The winner of the Jean Singer Music Scholarship will be announced at the banquet.

There will be 61 students in next yearŐs freshmen choir.

Practice on Tuesday night will begin at 6:00 and should finish by 8:00-8:15.

Chamber will perform at the Blennerhassett Hotel on May 8 to help raise money for the WV Symphony. This will be ChamberŐs last performance of the year (other than the Spring Concert).

Halley Kurtz and Whitney Pritchard wrote the music and the lyrics for the Senior Song to be performed at graduation.

DonŐt forget—graduation is a required performance for A Cappella students. Be at school at 6:00, in robes by 6:30, and the ceremony will begin at 7:00. Students will perform 4 songs.

Students are invited to perform at the Relay for Life Luminary Service at City Park on May 16. Wear red shirts and jeans.

Thanks for a great year.

Students,

Be sure to thank Mrs. McClain and Mrs. Beane for all their work this year on your behalf. It has been a great year.
